Happy Camp NaNo day 1!!!
About my project The Land of Stars:
Scooped up by giants when their farm is chosen as the battlefield for the next in a line of Immortal Olympic Games, Warner and Emmett Mariano are thrust into the Land of Stars where immortal beings rule with an iron fist and fight to become titans — the rulers of the universe.
Warner and Emmett are as ordinary and boring as the summer stretched out before them. Ever since their mom died, War can’t sleep, she can barely focus and she yearns for escape. While Emmett tries to pull Warner from her funk, all he really wants is a place to fit in. Both are quickly enamored with this new world, forming friendships with immortals and willing to take any escape from their boring lives. They soon find themselves elbow deep in the games, determined to help the giant underdogs and their new robot friend win.
Things turn dire, however, when the current Titans find out humans lurk in their lands. If their team doesn’t win, War and Em will never see home again. Even worse, there might not be a home to return too if the Titan’s win.
Basically. Immortals caught up in the grandest of Olympic games and a group of kids who get stuck in the middle. I’m so excited to write this! It’s the first of four books, I’m in love with my characters, and it’s just going to be so much fun to write, I can feel it! ❤
